Artfull Peer Learning Network
The Artfull Peer Learning Network was designed to create an active network, for the Exemplar and Pilot funded projects, focusing on mutual learning and on continuing creative and professional development. Around 20 participating projects have met regularly over a six month period. The aim has been to increase the capacity of artists and arts organisations to develop their practice and to evaluate and articulate its impact effectively in relation to mental health and wellbeing.
Over the last six months the Peer Learning Network has been successful in facilitating participating projects to articulate their successes and use evaluation and networking to learn and improve their practice. Participating projects have increased skills to create their own evaluation tools to collect information about the activities, outcomes, learning and development of their project. A report of the Peer Learning Network programme outcomes will be published in summer 2008, increasing practice based evidence of the benefit of the arts in relation to mental health and wellbeing.
