Mindspace is an exciting new partnership project, which will use high quality visual arts activities to enhance the sense of wellbeing of individuals in Aberdeenshire.
Aberdeenshire Council will be supporting two separate projects. One based at Inverurie Health Centre, which will focus on individuals with medical conditions that are thought to be affected by stress and anxiety and the other with Aberdeenshire mental health service providers, which will explore the potential of engagement in the visual arts to aid the recovery process in individuals experiencing mental ill-health.
Mindspace will take place over two years and has recently been granted Big Lottery Funding.
